Memory Foam Mattress vs. Traditional Innersprings

The innerspring mattress was invented in 1871. A lot has changed in over 130 years, shouldn’t your mattresses?

Today, if you were to design and build a mattress from scratch would you want to put hard, coiled, steel inside? We believe that a mattress is no place for steel. That is why our mattresses use the latest in memory foam technology to give you the comfort and support you deserve in the 21st century. Many consumers look at name brands like Serta,® Sealy,® Simmons,® Stearns & Foster® and King Coil as top brands in the mattress industry. What the consumer doesn’t see is that these brands are just covering up an outdated innerspring design when new and better alternatives in mattresses are available.

Bed Facts:

  1. Our Memory Foam beds are covered by a 10 Year Limited Warranty. Most innerspring manufacturers offer a five year warranty at most!

  2. Beds are a prime habitat for the dust mites that cause allergies. A typical used innerspring mattress may have anywhere from 100,000 to 10 million mites inside of it!

  3. Because of their resilient material, memory foam beds never need turning or flipping. Most innersprings require frequent 'flipping' to keep the mattress from developing indentations.

  4. The open-celled physical structure of memory foam is self-ventilating. Air is able to travel throughout the material and actually dissipate body heat.

  5. Because memory foam has the unique ability to adjust to your body's temperature and weight, it can also relieve the resting pressures (uncomfortable pressure points) that cause poor sleep with traditional mattresses. Memory foam can therefore help relieve aches and pains and can greatly reduce tossing and turning throughout the night.

  6. Visco-Elastic, or memory foam, automatically adjusts to your body weight and temperature, offering you complete, luxurious support!

  7. Memory foam flexes to change shape, while a traditional innerspring may buckle or pucker.
